Hi! My name is Esther

Change can be scary and hard, especially when you are feeling hopeless, frustrated, or lost. Whether you are dealing with depression, past trauma, or relational conflicts, my goal is to be your ally. I will give you the space to express, and understand your experience, and together we will work to help you build resilience, hope and growth.

My experience as a counselor has been with teens and adults navigating
change. Together, my clients and I have worked through adjusting to new beginnings and endings. From starting a new school to retired life, grief, dating, separation and more. My passion lies in helping you feel more in control of your life.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, under the board-approved supervision of Diane Herrero, Ph.D., LPC-S, and I proudly carry the designation of National Certified Counselor. Through my educational journey, I have had the opportunity to experience a few
corners of Texas: up in the north I got my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of North Texas, on the coast I received my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Texas
A&M University Corpus Christi. Now, I am excited to be in the Houston area as I continue my journey at Sam Houston State University to obtain a Doctorate degree in Counseling.

I offer tailored services to meet your unique and individual needs. In counseling, we'll explore your "why" for seeking change and create a personalized plan with the most appropriate way to help you make progress. I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy along with
other cognitive and behavioral techniques. I will help you learn to cope with your present struggles, explore the life you want, connect with parts of yourself, and discover how to make
your vision a reality. Your readiness for change is the first step; reach out to start your journey today. I am here to support you.
